Ever since seeing the Seinfeld episode about the Black and White cookie, I knew it was a cookie I needed to try. Not common in the west, we made a trip to NYC to sample as many as we could. And to be honest, they were underwhelming and it inspired Doc’s version with strong chocolate flavor and vanilla icing that tastes very strong but not too sweet. These frostings cover a very soft and pillowy buttermilk cookie.
